A week in Madrid offered students of Gymnasium VICTORIA HIGH SCHOOL a unique opportunity to experience both academic life and everyday living in a different cultural environment.
During their stay, they attended classes at a local high school, actively participated in lessons, and collaborated with Spanish students. Daily communication in Spanish was a natural part of the program, helping them significantly develop their language skills.
An important part of the experience was staying with host families, which allowed students to immerse themselves in Spanish culture in an authentic and personal way. The program was enriched with cultural activities focused on both traditional and modern aspects of life in Spain – from gastronomy to dance.
The exchange program contributed not only to language development but also to greater independence, openness, and the ability to adapt to new situations. These skills are essential for students’ future studies and personal growth.
International cooperation is a long-term priority at Gymnasium VICTORIA HIGH SCHOOL. We believe that direct experience abroad broadens students’ horizons in a way that cannot be fully replaced by classroom learning.
