Through this partnership, university students—future teachers—will gain hands-on practice directly in the dynamic environment of our high school. This cooperation brings mutual benefits for university trainees, our students, and our teaching staff, enriching the educational community as a whole.
Comprehensive Teaching Practice at VICTORIA HIGH SCHOOL
The cooperation includes several structured forms of teaching practice:
Classroom Observation
Students of the Faculty of Education attend lessons to observe experienced teachers in action. This allows them to analyse different teaching strategies, classroom management techniques, methods of motivating learners, and approaches to resolving challenging situations.
Assistant Practice
Future teachers actively participate in lessons by supporting group work, preparing teaching materials, leading segments of lessons, and assisting students who need extra help.
Independent Practice
University students plan and deliver full lessons independently. Under the guidance of an assigned mentor from our teaching staff, they receive constructive feedback and develop the ability to evaluate and refine their own teaching.
Project-Based Practice
Some trainees also take part in school projects, competitions, or extracurricular activities, giving them the opportunity to develop organizational skills and understand the broader responsibilities involved in teaching.
