Financial Literacy Seminar

On Thursday, May 15, we visited the Czech Mint with students as part of the Financial Literacy seminar.

We learned about the development and history of coinage, had the opportunity to view not only the 1 kg gold coin of the Bohemian Lion, but also other historical coins issued in the form of a folio, such as the iris from the 4th century BC, the denarius from the 10th century AD, the Prague grosz from the turn of the 13th – 14th centuries AD, the florin from the 14th century AD.

We were also introduced to various forms of investing in gold, we saw the store and their offer, and we also talked about current issues of Czech coins and also about euros, including a demonstration.
